One picture in common

Go through the left card one by one: picture 1 - is it on the right? Picture 2 - is it on the right?
That way you find the match for sure, even when it hides well.
Looking back and forth at random takes longer and you easily miss something.

For parents

What does this exercise practice?

The common picture practises systematic comparison: working through in order instead of jumping around.

Common pitfalls

Similar pictures are easily confused. Before writing the answer, check once more that it really is the same picture.

How to practice at home

Make two cards with five drawn pictures each that share exactly one picture - and let someone else search.
