For parents

What does this exercise practice?

This exercise reinforces the multiples (multiplication tables) through step-by-step counting instead of isolated multiplications.

Common pitfalls

When counting on, the step is sometimes carried over incorrectly. Have the last filled-in number pointed out before continuing.

How to practice at home

Count out loud together in steps of 4, 6, 7 or 8 and clap on every number.
