A number tree shows how a number breaks apart into smaller and smaller pieces.
The root at the top splits into two branches, and each branch splits again into two leaves.
Example: 647 = 384 + 263
The 384 branch splits into 196 and 188, the 263 branch splits into 127 and 136.
Tip: Two numbers on one branch always add up to the number above them.
